Rhapsody of Fire es una banda de power metal sinfónico que nacio en Triete,Italia,en 1993 de manos de Luca Turilli (guitarrista,ex-miembro) y Alex Staropoli (teclista).En principio la banda se llamó Thundercross,pero fueron mundialmente conocidos con el nombre de Rhapsody,el cual tuvieron que cambiar en 2006 por problemas legales,quedándose finalmente con Rhapsody Of Fire.

Rhapsody Of Fire se ha carazterizado por ser una banda con un estilo propio e innovador,en el que podemos ver en cada una de sus canciones arreglos orquestales y guitarreos que se pueden diferenciar de otras bandas,sin olvidar un bajo y una voz como la de Fabio Lione,que es reconocida por su destreza vocal,pudiendo cantar desde un tenor de ópera hasta una voz gutural.

Es sin duda uno de los grupos más influyentes de los 90,y han mencionado como sus mayores influencias a Vivaldi y J.S.Bach entre otros.
